VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTIONS
- Artist/Exhibitor Booth Assistant: Assist artists and exhibitors by watching their booth while they take necessary breaks.
- Artist Relations Assistant:
Assist Artists Relations Coordinator at the Artists Relations
Committee booth. Duties may include answering telephones, taking
work-orders and other general artist related incidences.
- Children's Art Area Assistant: Assisting with setup and maintenance of Children's Art Area and distribution of art supplies to participating children.
- Festival Handout Distributor: Distribution of Festival flyers at park entrances.
- Festival Office Assistant: Assisting Festival Headquarters personnel during the Festival with answering the telephone, running errands, maintaining the Hospitality Area.
- Festival Setup: Assist with Festival setup prior to the event. Duties may include: office and stations setups; signage and decoration placement; assisting with exhibitor/vendor check-in; running errands and other miscellaneous assistance.
- First Aid Station: Assisting First Aid Station Coordinator.
- Information Booth Personnel: Handling sales of Festival T-shirts and posters, and other Festival merchandise; answering questions regarding the Festival (all information will be provided in notebook form).
- Volunteer Station Assistant: Assisting Volunteer Coordinators at the Volunteer Station. Duties may include: checking volunteers in and out and running errands as needed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PARKING, DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP:
- Volunteer Drop-Off and Pick-Up - corner of Lilac and Cumberland.
- Coordinate pick-up time - traffic is extremely heavy in this area and parking is unavailable.
- Limited parking – East Boulevard Parking Lot and side streets.
- Do not block fire hydrants or driveways.
- Do not park in a “NO PARKING” zone - car will be towed at your expense.

CLOTHING AND GENERAL APPEARANCE:
- Volunteer T-shirts will be provided.
- Jeans or shorts are acceptable.
- Please be aware that you will be representing Festival in the Park, and your work place or school - we request that your dress and appearance be appropriate.
IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER:
- If the weather appears to be inclement, please call the Festival Headquarters telephone number listed below to check on conditions at the Festival.
SNACKS AND BEVERAGES:
- Free snacks and beverages available for volunteers in the Hospitality Area.
- Various Food Vendors also offer a discount to volunteers.
- Discount vouchers and a list of participating Food Vendors available upon check-in.

CONFIRMATION:
- Review your information and shift selections.
- Once all information is complete and reviewed for accuracy, please click the submit button.
- After submission your Confirmation will appear on-screen.
- Print and retain the Confirmation for your records.
RELEASE WAIVER:
- This form must be signed by you (and a parent or legal guardian if you are a minor).
- Give to the Volunteer Coordinator when you check in for your shift.
