The NEW JazzArts Music Stage
at Festival in the Park

The Jazz Arts Initiative is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of cultural arts patrons, professional musicians, educators, and individuals committed to the continued development of Charlotte’s arts heritage. The organization promotes quality jazz education, performance, and musician support.

As a part of the 47^th Annual Festival in the Park, the Jazz Arts Initiative will offer the Jazz Arts Stage for the second year. This premier event will offer opportunities for local performing groups from middle schools, high schools and colleges, as well as professional artists, to showcase their skills.  Audiences will explore their cultural heritage and will join with performers who have discovered their passion for music and the diversity of the jazz arts.
